This Is Us casts sexy siren Janet Montgomery as love interest for Y&R's Justin Hartley

Move over, ladies, because Salem actress Janet Montgomery has officially been chosen as the on-screen lover for The Young and the Restless' Justin Hartley (Adam Newman) in his This Is Us role.

The Young and the Restless' Justin Hartley (Adam Newman) is one lucky man. Not only does he get Chrishell Stause (Bethany Bryant; ex-Jordn Ridgeway, Days of our Lives) as his real fiancée and Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Newman) as his Genoa City flame, he now gets actress Janet Montgomery as his love interest for This Is Us.

The bombshell brunette, known for her work on Salem, Entourage, Made In Jersey, and Human Target, has been cast as an alluring and intense love interest for Hartley's character, bachelor sitcom actor Kevin, EW.com reports. Named Erin Maine, the recurring character is described as a "talented, tart-tongued theater actress whose fierce commitment to ‘honesty' sucks poor Kevin into her darkness."

Watch for the NBC premiere of The Is Us, which follows a group of characters who are all connected in a mysterious way, on Tuesday, September 20, at 10/9 C, and watch for Montgomery's first appearance as Erin during the series' fourth episode.

Do you think Montgomery was the right choice to romance Hartley's This Is Us character, Kevin? Or were you secretly hoping to see a soap actress in the newly created role?
